Anonymity is Preferred, Thank You Very Much

I've been reading some blogs quite regularly, and I do salute those who choose to put their real name and face onto their blog.

For me, this blog serves as an alternative avenue for thoughts/feelings I couldn't bear to share with those who know me. I have too much pride, and for me to put my face to these postings is really unbearable.

What if I got slammed for my non-existent wit, or dry sarcasm. Or worse, being pitied for my crush on Doraemon? The WORST will be if Doraemon stumbled upon this and knew I have the hots for him!

Argh.

Pride is a hard thing to swallow, and I'm not much good at swallowing anyway. Pills tend to come rushing back out of my mouth, and I really don't fancy "dead cats", which I regularly get at work.

So, yes, I'm choosing to remain anonymous.. to be known as Sylvie until the foreseeable future.

Or until I got over this affliction (aka silly crush).

Ca va!

Sylvie,

Thanks for saluting me! =)

The whole point of a blog is to remain anonymous. We who are open about our identity have no shame and love vanity. What can i say... ha!

Glad you liked Hong Kong. I'm finding it quite comfortable as well (or eventually, some would say).
